Letter from Jennifer - June 2026

If you've been following along, you know that I recently made a big move — and while the living spaces are coming together beautifully, my studio is still very much a work in progress! I'm in the middle of organizing, arranging, and making it feel like the creative sanctuary I've been dreaming of. I can't wait to give you a proper tour once it's ready — that's coming in a future issue. For now, let's just say there are a few paint brushes that haven't found their permanent home yet.

In the meantime, I wanted to share something that has me genuinely excited for Greenville's creative community.

Greenville Spotlight: Artfully & Vino & Van Gogh

If you haven't yet made your way to 407 Augusta Street this summer, move it to the top of your list. You'll find them right next door to the beloved Sun & Soil Plant Parlor — so you already know exactly where to go!

Teresa Pruitt, the heart behind both Artfully and Vino & Van Gogh, has one of those creative origin stories that just makes you smile. She began teaching art classes at Vino & Van Gogh in 2017 under its original owner and has been a beloved part of that community ever since. In 2023 she became the owner of Vino & Van Gogh, and this past April 25th she opened Artfully — her own fine art supply shop right alongside it.

The next exciting chapter of a story years in the making.

Artfully carries a wonderful range of fine art supplies alongside a thoughtfully curated selection of art and craft kits — everything from felting and embroidery to watercolor and gouache. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just beginning to explore your creative side, there is truly something for everyone. Teresa and her staff are warm, knowledgeable, and always happy to point you in the right direction.

I'm especially proud to share that Artfully carries Tulip Design Co. watercolor kits, stickers, greeting cards, and designer papers — so if you've been wanting to see them in person, now you can!

This summer is a perfect time to visit. Teresa is receiving new inventory every week, and there is a full calendar of workshops and classes for adults, plus a wonderful lineup of children's day camps running through the summer months. It's exactly the kind of creative, welcoming space that makes Greenville such a special place to live and make art.

Follow along on Instagram at @vinoandvangogh for the latest on classes, events, and new arrivals — and go visit soon. You won't regret it!

"Moments like this remind me why I love what I do. Greenville's creative community inspires me in the best way, and I'm so grateful to be a part of it — I can't wait to share more of what's happening around town and in my own little corner of it in the issues ahead!"
